SCTC has three different levels of membership that vary on location, transportation needs, and services. Each membership package is tailored differently to specifically assist in the needs of your company. The 3 memberships are as follows:
- Domestic Membership – located in the United States, involved in the sales, marketing and distribution of specialty crops.
- International Membership – located outside of the United States, involved in the sales, marketing and distribution of specialty crops.
- Associate Membership – Domestic and International, involved in the servicing of specialty crops.

Domestic Membership
Any company that is located within the United States, whether individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company or other business form, which is involved in the export sales, marketing and distribution of specialty crops such as dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products, may submit a written request for Membership.
Any such person shall be eligible for Membership on approval of their written request by the Board of Directors and the payment of such dues and fees as the Board of Directors may fix from time to time.
Membership dues for regular members are based on the tonnage of dried fruit, tree nuts, and kindred products a member exports each year and will be either $450 or $750 per quarter. Benefits of membership include:
- Voting membership
- Use of negotiated group shipping rates
- Use of the Contract Terms and Conditions
- Use of SCTC dispute resolution and arbitration services
- Inclusion in the SCTC Membership Directory and website link
- Ability to interact with SCTC Members and Service Providers
- Access to the SCTC Summer Meeting (free event)
- Access to SCTC Workshops
International Membership
Any company that is located outside of the United States, whether individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company or other business form, which is involved in the export sales, marketing and distribution of specialty crops such as dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products, may submit a written request for International Membership.
Any such person shall be eligible for International Membership on approval of their written request by the Association and the payment of such dues and fees as the Board of Directors may fix from time to time. Dues for International Members are $1600 USD per year. Benefits of membership include:
- Non-voting membership
- Use of negotiated group shipping rates
- Use of Contract Terms and Conditions
- Use of SCTC dispute resolution and arbitration services
- Inclusion in the SCTC International Membership Directory and website link
- Ability to interact with SCTC Members and Service Providers
- Access to the SCTC Summer Meeting (free event)
- Access SCTC Educational Workshops
Associate Membership
An Associate member is a non-voting membership offered to those service providers involved in the servicing of dried fruit, tree nuts and kindred products. Associate memberships are available to both domestic and international applicants.
Any such person shall be eligible for Associate Membership on approval of their written request by the Association and the payment of such dues and fees as the Board of directors may fix from time to time. Dues for Associate Members are $500 USD per year. Benefits of membership include:
- Non-voting Membership
- Inclusion in the SCTC Associate Membership Directory and website
- Ability to interact with SCTC Members
- Access to the SCTC Summer Meeting (free event)
