SCTC has three different levels of membership that vary on location, transportation needs, and services. Each membership package is tailored differently to specifically assist in the needs of your company. The 3 memberships are as follows:
- Regular Voting Membership – located within the United States, engaged in export sales, marketing and distribution of dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products.
- Non-Voting International Associate Membership – located outside the United States, engaged in the sales, marketing and distribution of dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products.
- Non-Voting Service Associate Membership – domestic and international, involved in servicing the dried fruit, tree nuts, or kindred products industries.

Regular Voting Membership
Any company that is located within the United States, whether individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company or other business form, which is engaged in the export sales, marketing and distribution of dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products, may submit a written request for Regular Voting Membership.
Any such person shall be admitted to Regular Voting Membership if determined to be eligible by the Executive Director and if approved by the Chairman.
As a Regular Voting Member of SCTC, you will receive the following benefits:
- Voting membership
- Use of the SCTC Contract Terms and Conditions for Dried Fruit, Tree Nuts and Kindred Products
- Use of SCTC dispute resolution and arbitration services through JAMS ADR
- Inclusion in the SCTC Membership Directory with your company’s website link
- Ability to interact with SCTC Members and Service Providers
- Access to the SCTC Summer Meeting (free event)
- Access to SCTC Workshops
SCTC also offers a specialized service to the dried fruit, tree nut and related industries by negotiating export shipping rates for authorized members. Eligible members who wish to utilize this service must enter into a service agreement with SCTC.
If interested in utilizing this service, the SCTC Prequalification Form must be completed and submitted with the Regular Voting Membership Application.
Non-Voting International Associate Membership
Any company that is located outside of the United States that does not meet the eligibility requirements for Regular Voting Membership but is engaged in export sales, marketing and distribution of dried fruit, tree nuts or kindred products, may submit a written request for Non-Voting International Associate Membership.
Any such person shall be admitted to Non-Voting International Associate Membership if determined to be eligible by the Executive Director and if approved by the Chairman.
As a Non-Voting International Associate Member of SCTC, you will receive the following benefits:
- Non-voting membership
- Use of the SCTC Contract Terms and Conditions for Dried Fruit, Tree Nuts and Kindred Products
